X-Plane 12 - ReplaySync Feature

New Feature: X‑Plane 12 ReplaySync — Now with Live Yoke Mirroring

We’ve added something awesome to FFBTools: your CLS‑60/120 force‑feedback yoke now mirrors the real control inputs during any X‑Plane 12 Replay — including saved replay files.

When you scrub or play back a flight, the yoke physically follows the recorded pitch/roll movements, letting you feel what happened, not just watch it.

Why it matters:

• Better debriefs: Re‑experience control pressures and timing during steep turns, approaches, stalls, and landings (normal, crosswind, soft and short field etc.

• Train smarter: Build muscle memory by feeling the exact inputs from successful (and not‑so‑successful) maneuvers.

• Instructor ready: Perfect for post‑lesson reviews and shared training scenarios.

No setup needed to activate CLS-60/120 yoke mirroring for X-Plane 12 Replay!

Warning: Keep clear of the yoke when activating X-Plane Replay. The yoke will move automatically and could cause injury if you are too close.

Toggle X-Plane Replay

To toggle X-Plane Replay: X-Plane > Flight > Toggle Replay Mode (Alt+r)

Tip: When you toggle an X-Plane Replay, give it about 30 seconds for the replay to fully load.

Warning: Keep clear of the yoke when activating X-Plane Replay. The yoke will move automatically and could cause injury if you are too close.

Save X-Plane Replay

To save an X-Plane Replay: X-Plane > File > Save Flight

Load X-Plane Replay

To load an X-Plane Replay: X-Plane > File > Load Flight

Tip: When you load an X-Plane Replay, give it about 30 seconds for the replay to fully load.

Warning: Keep clear of the yoke when loading X-Plane Replay. The yoke will move automatically and could cause injury if you are too close.

New Feature: RemoteSync — Train Together, Anywhere

We’re excited to launch RemoteSync for the CLS‑60 and CLS‑120 force‑feedback yokes — a new feature that lets two yokes mirror each other’s movements over the internet in real time.

Whether it’s an instructor guiding a student across town or a friend flying formation across the world, you’ll both feel the same control inputs and aircraft forces—together.

Why it’s a game‑changer

• True hands‑on coaching: Instructor can “take the controls” gently, demonstrate inputs, or feel what the student is doing—exactly as you would in a real cockpit.

• Shared, tactile realism: Both yokes transmit pitch/roll forces and positions so training feels natural and intuitive.

• Distance disappears: Perfect for shared flights, remote instruction, proficiency checks, mentoring, and collaborative practice.

Video setup instructions for RemoteSync COMING SOON!
